Accessibility Declaration

Last updated: September 27, 2026

We want everyone to be able to browse this site, build a formula, and place an order — including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, or a magnifier. This page explains the accessibility level we work to, what we have put in place, and where we know we still fall short.

Our level of accessibility

This website targets the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard (the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C). We check our pages against that standard and aim to meet it across the site.

Despite our efforts to make every page easy to use, some pages may not yet be fully accessible. If you run into a barrier, please tell us (see the contact section below) so we can fix it.

What we have done

  • Clear, simple navigation. Every page carries the same header and footer, so the menu, cart, and sign-in controls are always in the same place. A skip link at the top of each page jumps straight to the main content.
  • Organised, hierarchical content. Pages use one main heading and a consistent heading order, longer documents have a linked table of contents, and explanations sit next to the content they describe.
  • Simple, clear language. We write in plain words, avoid jargon, and expand any term that might be unfamiliar — including on legal pages like this one.
  • Consistent structure. Buttons, links, forms, and error messages behave the same way on every page, so patterns learned in one place work everywhere else.
  • Works with modern browsers. The site is built on standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and works in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on desktop and mobile.
  • Adapts to different screens. Layouts reflow for phones, tablets, and desktops, and text can be enlarged without losing content or causing sideways scrolling.
  • Descriptive images. Images that carry meaning have alternative text; purely decorative imagery is hidden from assistive technology so it does not add noise.
  • Keyboard and screen-reader support. Interactive elements can be reached with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline, and controls carry accessible names and states. Form fields have real labels and errors are announced, not just coloured.
  • Colour and contrast. Text is set to meet the AA contrast ratio against its background, and colour is never the only way we convey information.

Text size and zoom

You can enlarge or reduce the text on any page when you need to. Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on a Mac) and use the mouse wheel, or press Ctrl / Cmd with + and −. The layout adjusts as you zoom, so nothing is cut off and you do not have to scroll sideways.

Motion and animation

There is no blinking or flashing text on this site, and nothing moves automatically that you need in order to read a page or complete an order. The movement we do use — photographs fading in as you scroll, drifting background colour, and auto-scrolling image rails — is decorative.

You can switch most of that movement off from your device or browser: turning on reduce motion (for example “Reduce motion” in your operating system’s accessibility settings, or prefers-reduced-motion in your browser) stops the page animations — fade-ins, drifting backgrounds, animated buttons, counting numbers — and halts the auto-scrolling image rails. The rails can also be paused by hovering over them and scrolled by hand at any time.

A separate group of effects is tied to your scroll position rather than animated on its own: they move only while you are scrolling and stop as soon as you stop. Those respond directly to your input and are not switched off by the setting above.

Known exceptions

We would rather tell you than have you find out the hard way. These parts of the site do not yet fully meet our target:

  • Testimonial videos have no captions. The short member clips on our pages are supplied without caption or subtitle tracks, so their spoken content is not available to people who are deaf or hard of hearing. We are working on captioning them.
  • The chat assistant is supplied by our platform. The “Build my formula” assistant is a third-party component embedded in the page and rendered in an isolated part of the browser. We cannot fully control or verify its internal markup, so we cannot guarantee that every part of the conversation meets AA — although the button that opens it, and the pages it hands you to, do.
  • Product photography may have short descriptions. Some images are supplied by our manufacturer and carry brief alternative text rather than a full description of every detail.

If any of these stops you from using the site, contact us and we will help you directly, and where we can we will provide the information in another format.

Contact us

If you find something you cannot use, or you would like information from this site in a different format, please write to our accessibility contact. Tell us the page and, if you can, what happened — that is usually enough for us to reproduce and fix it. We aim to reply within a few business days.
